Carve

Territories in minutes, not weeks

Carve replaces spreadsheet-based territory planning with an AI agent. Describe the rules, compare scenarios, and deploy straight to Salesforce.

01Overview

Describe. Carve. Done.

Territory planning has been a spreadsheet exercise for as long as there have been territories. The spreadsheet is not the problem — the rebuild is. Every time headcount changes, a rep leaves, or a stakeholder asks “what if we split EMEA differently”, the whole thing gets rebuilt by hand.

Carve replaces that loop with an agent that already knows your account universe. You describe the constraints; it produces a plan, the analysis behind it, and the visuals you need to defend it.

02Capabilities

What Carve does

Describe what you need

Explain the plan in your own words — headcount, segments, capacity, named-account carve-outs — and Carve builds it. No formula columns, no pivot tables, no VLOOKUP against a stale export.

Iterate with an agent that knows your data

Carve is grounded in your scored account universe, so a follow-up like "move the enterprise accounts in EMEA to the two senior reps" produces a real revision rather than a suggestion you have to implement yourself.

Compare scenarios before you commit

Build several versions of the plan and put them side by side. Every scenario arrives with a full analysis, so a stakeholder debate becomes a comparison of options instead of an argument about assumptions.

Show the plan, not just the assignments

The carve does not end when the assignments are done — you still need buy-in. Carve builds the visuals and the map view for you, so the plan can be presented the day it is finished.

Push the winning plan to Salesforce

Deploy the chosen scenario directly. No spreadsheets, no re-entry, no reconciliation pass to find out what actually landed.

03Who it’s for

Built for the whole revenue team

RevOps

Stop rebuilding the same spreadsheet every planning season. A carve that took weeks takes an afternoon, and the next revision takes minutes.

Sales leaders

See several defensible options instead of one take-it-or-leave-it plan, each with the analysis attached.

Reps

Get a book that was built from account fit rather than a zip code, and an explanation of why you own what you own.

What customers say

I’ve carved territories the last 10 years. It’s never fun. But after using Carve: I’m looking forward to my next carve.

We used to hand reps zip codes. Now, we hand them opportunity.

Our strategy manager left, and our VP of sales just said, “The books are terrible. Redo it. I want it by start of Q4.” Having no run-up time, this has been a huge help.

06Questions

Carve FAQs

How long does a carve actually take?

Most teams have a working scenario the same day they connect their CRM. The slow part of traditional territory planning is not the assignment logic, it is the rebuild loop every time a stakeholder asks for a change — and that loop collapses to minutes.

Do I need clean CRM data first?

No. Carve works with the CRM you already have, including messy fields, inconsistent segments and incomplete records. Market Map scores accounts by similarity to your closed-won customers rather than relying on manually maintained rules.

Can I override what the AI decides?

Yes. Overrides are a normal part of the workflow — pin named accounts to specific reps, protect existing relationships, or hand-adjust a region, and the rest of the plan rebalances around your decision.

What happens to the plan after it ships?

Carve plans; Bookbuilder maintains. Once the territories are deployed, Bookbuilder keeps each rep's book current as headcount, capacity and the market shift.

Learn about Bookbuilder
Does it work with HubSpot?

Carve reads from Salesforce, HubSpot or a CSV. Deploying the finished plan back into the CRM requires the Salesforce managed package.
